The Maghreb/Middle East Renewable Energy Conference 2010 was organized to stimulate and provide a comprehensive, focused and operational framework for cooperation aimed at creating a renewable energy market for investors, project developers and funding/financing agencies in the regions and among actors and stakeholders at all levels. The objective being to mobilize technology, innovation, expertise, capacity and financing required to build, develop and optimize the regions vast and untapped renewable energy as well as promote and address grid related incentives and challenges for renewable energy integration into the regions electricity systems.
This event was geared towards facilitating the regions and participants decision making and to develop strategies based on latest renewable energy regulatory framework & data, position the regions participants and stakeholders. Key partners, investors and essential market participants, business development avenues and financing agencies/partners have been identified in order to respond to market, business structure, strategy and focus enabling the participants to gain maximum advantage of the renewable energy industry growth potentials in the region and beyond.
